In his early twenties, Simonson was enchanted by the magic of house music. Two songs, in particular, left a lasting impact on him: Robin S's "Show Me Love" with its unforgettable organ sound, and Faithless' "Insomnia".
By the time he reached his thirties, Simonson made waves on the global stage as a rapper in the dance band Cargo, their hit "Pornstar" gaining recognition across the world.
In 2009, Simonson formed a dynamic DJ/producer duo with Steffen Aba, collectively known as Aba & Simonson. Together, they made their mark on the Danish music scene with an impressive seven top 10 singles and countless hit remixes.
It was alongside Aba that Simonson discovered a passion for lounge and chillout music, crafting unique tracks, including one featured as the soundtrack for the World Expo in China and as background music for the iconic Little Mermaid.
Following his departure from Aba in 2012, Simonson took a musical hiatus. Now, 12 years later, his musical passion and energy are reignited. He delves into the modern electronic Chill Out and Lounge genres, rooted in beloved soul music, reigniting his joy for creating music anew.
